Founded in 1916, St Austell Amateur Operatic Society has been bringing musical theatre to the heart of our community for over a century. We now call The Keay Theatre in St Austell our home, staging our annual production each April during the Easter holidays. With 97 musicals performed and 16 awards won in the past decade, our society is proud of its long standing reputation for high quality, entertaining shows.
Our group is built on strong family values, with generations of performers taking part together. We currently have 13 committee members and are honoured to include 15 Life Members, whose decades of dedication embody the spirit of our society.
From the early days of Gilbert & Sullivan to more recent favourites like Sister Act and Shrek, we continue to evolve while celebrating the joy of live theatre. Thank you for supporting St Austell AOS – your presence helps keep musical theatre alive in our town.
